About Chris

Chris followed his passion to help people as a therapist after 20 years of successful technology sales and management. He helps young (and not so young) adults and teenagers effectively manage depression, anger, unhealthy addictions, and the anxiety & stress that come along with our complex lives. Chris believes that we have the inherent ability to change from within, and his role as a professional is to provide his guidance with the proper therapeutic tools and the experience that he brings.

When someone takes that first step to call a counselor, they have reached a point of real pain that needs immediate attention. Chris begins with the immediate goal in mind, and then works with clients to develop skills to address deeper issues. As a Level 3 TEAM CBT certified therapist, Chris works with clients to quickly identify negative thoughts and work towards change. Chris takes a whole person philosophy, giving consideration to mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical health.

Originally from Chicago, Chris now lives with his beautiful wife and two teenage children in north Texas. His personal interests include running, reading, and experiencing new cultures. Chris has found ways to help people with professional, career, and spiritual guidance as a sales manager, a professional coach, and as a Stephen Minister. Chris is active in various ministries at St. Ann Church in Coppell. Chris conducted his practicum at Hope Strategies under the supervision of Kristy White, providing drug and alcohol assessments, substance abuse & anger management counseling, and teaching classes to small groups.
