Lesson 1: Understanding Emotions
In this lesson, we will briefly discuss why we feel and respond the way we do. We then use a tool developed by Dr. David Burns called positive reframing to understand our negative emotions. We discuss these emotions from the perspective of a teen with examples. We explore ways our negative emotions actually show what is great about us!
